Abstract
La invencion se refiere a derivados de piridina sustituidos. Especificamente, la invencion se refiere a compuestos segun la formula (Iar): (ver fórmula) en donde Yar, X1ar, X2ar, R1ar, R2ar, R3ar, R4ar y R5ar son como se definen en la presente memoria; o una sal farmaceuticamente aceptable o profarmaco del mismo; los compuestos de la invencion son inhibidores selectivos de DNMT1 y pueden ser utiles en el tratamiento del cancer, sindromes precancerosos, trastornos de beta hemoglobinopatia, enfermedad de celulas falciformes, anemia de celulas falciformes y beta talasemia, y enfermedades asociadas con la inhibicion de DNMT1; por consiguiente, la invencion se refiere ademas a composiciones farmaceuticas que comprenden un compuesto de la invencion; la invencion se refiere ademas a metodos para inhibir la actividad de DNMT1 y al tratamiento de trastornos asociados con la misma, usando un compuesto de la invencion o una composicion farmaceutica que comprende un compuesto de la invencion.
