Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de radar para rastrear UAV y otros objetos de vuelo bajo que usan equipo de red inalámbrica. El sistema se implementa como un sistema de radar de baja altitud distribuido donde las antenas de transmisión se acoplan con el equipo de red inalámbrica para irradiar señales en una dirección hacia el cielo. Un arreglo o antena de recepción recibe señales irradiadas desde la antena de transmisión y, en particular, señales o ecos reflejados del objeto en la región de detección hacia el cielo. Uno o más componentes de procesamiento se acoplan electrónicamente con el equipo de red inalámbrica y la antena de recepción para recibir y manipular la información de señal para proporcionar el reconocimiento y rastreo de los objetos de vuelo bajo y su movimiento dentro de la región de cobertura. El sistema puede proporcionar detección de objetos a lo largo de una pluralidad de regiones por nodos regionales de conexión en red y agregación de la información para detectar y rastrear los UAV y otros objetos de vuelo bajo a medida que se mueven dentro de las regiones de detección.
