Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a partículas de óxido de cerio que tienen excelente resistencia al calor y/o volumen de poro, especialmente útiles para catalizadores, cerámica funcional, electrolito sólido para pilas de combustible, pulido, absorbentes de ultravioleta y similares, y particularmente adecuadas para su uso como material catalizador o cocatalizador, por ejemplo, en la catálisis para purificar los gases de escape de los vehículos. La presente invención también se refiere a un método para preparar dichas partículas de óxido de cerio y a un catalizador, tal como para purificar los gases de escape, utilizando estas partículas de óxido de cerio.
