Abstract
La invención proporciona métodos para identificar individuos con una enfermedad o trastorno que tengan menos probabilidades de responder solo a la inmunoterapia, el método comprende determinar la presencia de una firma de genes estromales en una muestra del individuo, dicha firma comprende uno o más de FAP, FN1, MMP2, PDGFRB, o THY, en donde un aumento en el nivel de expresión del o los genes en la firma de genes estromales respecto a la mediana del nivel identifica a un individuo para el tratamiento con una inmunoterapia y con un antagonista estromal supresor. En algunos aspectos, la invención proporciona métodos para tratar a un individuo que manifiesta la firma de genes estromales. En otros aspectos, la invención proporciona kits para determinar la presencia de una firma de genes estromales en una muestra de un individuo.
