Abstract
En este documento se proporcionan métodos para prevenir la transmisión del virus Zika y para prevenir enfermedades, trastornos y síntomas asociados con infecciones por el virus Zika, en particular para prevenir la transmisión durante las relaciones sexuales. Los métodos comprenden la administración tópica de una macromolécula que comprende un dendrímero de 1 a 8 generaciones con uno o más restos que contienen ácido sulfónico o sulfonato unidos a uno o más grupos de superficie del dendrímero.
