Abstract

El movimiento rotacional genera velocidad de una masa, en donde la liberación de la masa desde el sistema giratorio, se vuelve un proyectil, y el impacto subsecuente puede dar como resultado el corte, la abrasión, el mezclado de sustancias químicas, el recubrimiento y otros efectos de superficie y de volumen que incluyen la transferencia del momento. Son utilizadas estructuras y dispositivos para insertar una masa dentro de un dispositivo giratorio. Mientras está dentro del dispositivo giratorio, la masa obtiene velocidad. La transición desde el sistema rotacional hacia una superficie estacionaria, es lograda con un mínimo: de pérdida de velocidad por la selección de trayectorias, flujos de aire y acabados superficiales para la reducir las pérdidas de energía en la transición de masa sobre la superficie estacionaria y dentro de un tubo de guía estacionario fijo, y al final hacia un punto de impacto. Conductos simples y múltiples, estacionarios y giratorios, pueden ser utilizados para lograr efectos de química y física complejos.
