Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para preparar etilenaminas de la fórmula NH2-(C2H4-NH-)pH en donde p es por lo menos 3 o sus derivados en donde una o más unidades -NH-C2H4-NH- pueden estar presentes como una unidad de etilenurea cíclica o entre dos unidades -NH-C2H4-NH- está presente una porción de carbonilo, a través de la reacción de un compuesto etanolamina-funcional, un compuesto amina-funcional en la presencia de un agente de entrega de óxido de carbono, donde la relación molar de compuesto etanolamina-funcional a compuesto amina-funcional es por lo menos 0.7:1 y la relación molar de agente de entrega de óxido de carbono a compuesto amina-funcional es por lo menos 0.05:1.
