Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para determinar la viscosidad de un fluido transportador impulsado por medio de una bomba, en donde un valor de funcionamiento es detectado y alimentado a una unidad de evaluación, y el método comprende las siguientes etapas: proporcionar un fluido de referencia, registrar una curva característica de referencia (Hw, Etaw) resultante del fluido de referencia durante la operación de prueba de la bomba en un parámetro de funcionamiento predeterminado de la bomba, registrar una curva característica de operación (Hv, Etav) resultante del fluido transportador durante la operación de manejo de la bomba en el parámetro de funcionamiento predeterminado de la bomba, determinar la viscosidad del fluido transportador a partir de una desviación de la curva característica de operación (Hv, Etav) de la curva característica de referencia (Hw, Etaw) por medio de un algoritmo de corrección de viscosidad almacenado en la unidad de evaluación.
