Abstract
La presente invención corresponde a sistemas, equipos y métodos para la recuperación integral y para el mejoramiento in situ de crudo pesado y de arenas bituminosas. Tales sistemas, equipos y métodos permiten una recuperación mejorada de crudo pesado en un pozo de producción mediante la introducción de un fluido caliente de un depósito de superficie móvil en el pozo de producción, bajo condiciones que favorezcan el mejoramiento de hidrocarburos. Los métodos pueden involucrar adicionalmente la introducción de hidrogeno y un catalizador junto con la inyección de un fluido caliente en el pozo de producción para continuar favoreciendo las reacciones de mejoramiento de hidrocarburos. Además, la invención proporciona metodologías para la producción de petróleo mejorado en depósitos de petróleo convencionales.
