Abstract

The present disclosure is related to nutraceutical beverages made from cold maceration extracts of herbs, roots and seeds, to which, after cold maceration, a double serial fermentation is performed. The first one is using Kombucha fungus and the second fermentation is with lactic bacteria, Such herbs, roots and seeds are selected from those that have hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory and antihypertensive properties, among which it is preferable, but not limited to, cardamom, arnica, turmeric, mint, using them individually or in combinations thereof. This process is also related to the process for the production of said double fermented nutraceutical drinks.
