Abstract

La presente divulgación se refiere a un método y dispositivo para adaptar un contenido de video decodificado de corrientes elementales a las características de una pantalla de al menos un tipo de metadatos que proporcionan información referente a dichas corrientes elementales. Dicho método comprende: - obtener (102) información adicional (HDR DESCR.) que indica la presencia de un tipo particular de metadatos; - determinar si dicho contenido de video decodificado de corrientes elementales se puede desplegar en dicha pantalla (11) de dicha información adicional (HDR DESCR.) y las características de la pantalla (EDID); y - si se determina que dicho contenido de video decodificado de las corrientes elementales se puede desplegar, seleccionar (105) un proceso de dicha información adicional y las características de la pantalla y adaptar (106) el contenido de video decodificado de acuerdo con el proceso seleccionado.
