Abstract

Un método de conversión para transformar luminancia de un video, que incluye un valor de luminancia en un primer intervalo de luminancia, que es exhibido en un aparato de visualización incluye: adquirir una primera señal de luminancia que indica un valor de código obtenido por medio de la cuantificación del valor de luminancia del video; y convertir el valor de código indicado por la primera señal de luminancia adquirida en un segundo valor de luminancia determinado con base en un intervalo de luminancia del aparato de visualización, el segundo valor de luminancia es compatible con un segundo intervalo de luminancia con un valor máximo más pequeño que un valor máximo del primer intervalo de luminancia y más grande que 100 nit. Esto proporciona el método de conversión capaz de lograr un mejoramiento adicional.
