Abstract
Un método para la detección de un influjo y/o pérdida de circulación en un pozo, que comprende medir una condición en el pozo con un sensor de fondo de pozo; determinar que una bomba de desplazamiento positivo se encuentra apagada o encendida; predecir el volumen de pileta y/o la concentración de gas en múltiples puntos de tiempo luego de que se apague o se prenda la bomba de desplazamiento positivo utilizando la condición medida en el pozo antes de que se apague o se prenda la bomba de desplazamiento positivo, donde la condición medida se correlaciona con el volumen de pileta y/o la concentración de gas; medir el volumen de pileta y/o la concentración de gas en múltiples puntos de tiempo; comparar los volúmenes de pileta y/o las concentraciones de gas predicha y medida en múltiples puntos de tiempo; y producir una señal de advertencia si la diferencia entre los volúmenes de pileta y/o las concentraciones de gas predicha y medida es mayor que un valor predeterminado.
