Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una película de envasado en capas para productos frescos. La película proporciona una velocidad de transmisión del vapor de agua de al menos 30 g m-2 al día, e incluye una capa polimérica con una temperatura de sellado de 205° C o menos. La presente invención también proporciona un producto fresco envuelto por una película de envasado, en donde la película de envasado está sellada por un sello alargado que se extiende a lo largo de la parte inferior del envase, y en donde el sello alargado tiene una resistencia de sellado tal que cuando la película de envasado se levanta desde el lado superior del envase de productos frescos, el sello se rompe permitiendo que la película de envasado sea retirada del producto fresco en una sola acción de levantamiento.
