Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un conector apilable para la transmisión inalámbrica de energía entre dispositivos separados que comprenden el conector de un sistema, particularmente de un sistema de monitorización de pacientes; los dispositivos separados comprenden el conector. El conector comprende un alojamiento (301, 407) y una unidad de acoplamiento magnético (302) dispuesta dentro del alojamiento (301, 407) para transmitir energía hacia, y/o recibir energía proveniente de, otro dispositivo del sistema que tiene un conector correspondiente mediante el uso de acoplamiento inductivo. La unidad de acoplamiento magnético incluye un concentrador de flujo (303, 401, 411, 432, 442), del cual al menos una parte tiene una sección transversal en forma de U que forma una cavidad (304, 402, 412, 422, 437, 447) entre las patas de la U, una primera bobina (305, 417, 431) dispuesta dentro de la cavidad del concentrador de flujo, y una segunda bobina (306, 427, 441) dispuesta fuera de la cavidad en la que está dispuesta la primera bobina (305, 417, 431). El alojamiento (301, 407) se dispone para permitir el apilamiento de conectores uno sobre el otro, de manera que la primera bobina (305, 417, 431) del conector (300, 400, 410, 430) y una segunda bobina de otro conector apilado sobre el conector forman conjuntamente un transformador para la transmisión inductiva de energía entre ellas, y/o la segunda bobina (306, 427, 441) del conector (300, 400, 410, 430) y una primera bobina (305a) de otro conector (300a) apilado sobre el conector (300, 400, 410, 430) forman conjuntamente un transformador para la transmisión inductiva de energía entre ellas.
