Abstract

The present disclosure is related to an insulating material based on closed pore polyurethane, high density and industrial waste with flame retarding characteristics, consisting of a matrix of polyurethane and rim powder as reinforcement material, which improves thermal insulation for construction elements of buildings or houses. Is made by means of the prepolymer method, in the presence of catalysts, blowing agents and other additives. Has a thermal conductivity of 0.0358 W/mK, a real density of 137 Kg/m3 and a gaseous composition percentage of 14.98%. Can be poured into any type of mold without limiting form; can be directly projected or applied without being limited in any form.
