Abstract

Un método de moldeo por inyección implica la medición, mediante el uso de por lo menos un sensor externo, de un cambio en un parámetro de un lado del molde de una cavidad del molde, la aproximación de una condición dentro de la cavidad del molde con base en el cambio en el parámetro, tal como la presión dentro de la cavidad del molde o la posición delantera del flujo, y la comparación de la condición aproximada a un punto de activación. Si la condición aproximada es igual o superior al punto de activación, la activación de un sensor de cavidad virtual que tiene una curva óptima de presión-tiempo predefinida, y tras la activación, el sensor de cavidad virtual rastrea una condición aproximada calculada a partir del cambio en las mediciones de los parámetros medidos por el por lo menos un sensor externo a lo largo del tiempo. En una forma de realización, los resultados del seguimiento de los parámetros aproximados se pueden utilizar en conjunto con una curva óptima de presión-tiempo predefinida.
