Abstract

Un método para alimentar un alambre tubular a metal fundido contenido en un recipiente, que comprende colocar el alambre tubular en una primera posición, en donde una punta delantera del alambre tubular está próxima a un punto de entrada del recipiente, el punto de entrada está por encima de la superficie del metal fundido, el alambre tubular comprende una fibra óptica y una cubierta que rodea lateralmente la fibra óptica; alimentar el alambre tubular a una primera velocidad por una primera duración desde la primera posición a una segunda posición, en donde la punta delantera del alambre tubular es sumergida dentro del metal fundido y cae dentro de un plano de medición, de tal manera que la punta delantera de la fibra óptica se proyecta desde la tapa y es expuesta al metal fundido y subsecuentemente alimentar el alambre tubular a una segunda velocidad por una segunda duración para tomar una primera medición del metal fundido.
