Abstract

La presente invención describe un método para la detección de alto rendimiento (HTS) para identificar un analito con un efecto mensurable sobre las células. El método antes mencionado comprende los pasos de: (a) proporcionar un arreglo que comprende una pluralidad de muestras de células; (b) proporcionar al menos un analito para ser ensayado; (c) poner en contacto tales muestras de células con tal analito; y (d) detectar una señal indicativa de tal efecto mensurable en las células, caracterizado porque la alteración de la señal con el tiempo en tal muestra de célula con relación a una muestra de control, es indicativa de tal efecto mensurable del analito en la muestra de la célula. La presente invención además describe medios y métodos para identificar un analito seleccionado del grupo que consiste en: extracto de cannabis o una de sus fracciones, constituyente de tipo cannabinoide, constituyente de tipo no cannabinoide o cualquiera de sus combinaciones. El analito es indicativo de una actividad citotóxica o antiproliferativa o antimitótica o inhibidora del crecimiento celular in vitro.
