Abstract
Se proporciona un método para colorear un elemento óptico en un patrón lineal no uniforme. El método incluye (a) preparar al menos una composición colorante que contiene al menos un material fotocrómico; (b) depositar la composición colorante sobre al menos una superficie del elemento óptico en un patrón predeterminado controlado usando un aparato de impresión por inyección de tinta para proporcionar un patrón de color de gradiente lineal en el elemento óptico cuando el elemento óptico sea expuesto a radiación actínica; y (c) secar la composición colorante sobre la superficie del elemento óptico. También se proporciona un elemento óptico preparado por el método.
