Abstract

Una composición espumable incluye una poliolefina semi-cristalina que tiene una cristalinidad de por lo menos 50% y una poli (sulfonil azida) de por lo menos 500 ppm, con base en el peso total de la composición espumable; la composición espumable tiene una resistencia a la fusión de por lo menos 20 cN, una capacidad de estiramiento en estado fundido de por lo menos 100 mm/s, y un módulo de flexión mayor de aproximadamente 1,654,742 kPa; dicha composición puede usarse para obtener una espuma de baja densidad que tiene una densidad en la escala de 0.005 g/cm3 a 0.6 g/cm3; se proveen también una espuma resultante o un artículo fabricado, los métodos de la composición y la espuma.
