Abstract

Se proporcionan fibras que se forman a partir de una composición termoplástica que contiene un polímero y nanoestructuras de gran área superficial. Las fibras tienen una estructura vacía y baja densidad a la vez que mantienen buenas características de resistencia. Para lograr tal estructura, un agente de soplado en la composición termoplástica se activa durante la extrusión para formar burbujas en las fibras. Las nanoestructuras de gran área superficial en las fibras formadas pueden formarse de o portar el agente de soplado y pueden mejorar la resistencia de las fibras y compensar los vacíos que no portan la carga de las fibras.
