Abstract

La invención es concerniente con un catalizador para la descomposición térmica de amoníaco. El catalizador comprende por lo menos 25% en peso de óxido de níquel y está presente en forma de polvo y/o comprende de 30% a 42% en peso de óxido de níquel. También se describe un proceso para la descomposición térmica de amoniaco en hidrógeno y nitrógeno, tal proceso que comprende poner en contacto amoníaco con el catalizador de la invención.
