Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para producir una composición curada, que tiene por lo menos un anillo de oxazolidinona y por lo menos un anillo de isocianurato y es reticulada con los mismos, empezando a partir de una mezcla de reacción líquida que comprende: (a) por lo menos una resina epoxi aromática líquida; (b) por lo menos un poliisocianato aromático líquido; y (c) una composición de catalizador; en relación con el por lo menos un poliisocianato, la por lo menos una resina epoxi se usa en cantidades tales que la relación de equivalentes molares de grupos epóxido a grupos isocianato es por lo menos 0.4; y curar la mezcla de reacción para dar una composición de polímero curada que comprende por lo menos un anillo de oxazolidinona y por lo menos un anillo de isocianurato, y también a las composiciones curadas obtenibles por estos métodos.
