Abstract
Una composición para el cuidado bucal, que tiene un complejo de zinc y polifosfato soluble elaborado mediante la combinación de ingredientes que incluyen una sal de zinc inorgánica y múltiples polifosfatos de cadena larga con 6 o más unidades poliméricas de fosfato; en la que la cantidad relativa de sal de zinc inorgánica y polifosfatos de cadena larga proporciona una relación molar de fósforo con respecto a zinc de al menos 6:1. Se proporciona además un método para tratar un sujeto que padece sensibilidad dentinaria mediante la aplicación de la composición para el cuidado bucal a los dientes y las encías del sujeto.
