Abstract
[Problema] Se provee un miembro estructural que tiene excelentes características de transmisión de carga durante carga de impacto, en un miembro estructural de metal largo que tiene una sección transversal sustancialmente en forma de canalón. [Solución] Un miembro estructural de metal formado en una forma larga que se extiende en una dirección prescrita, que tiene: una sección de piso de canalón; dos secciones de arista conectadas a ambos extremos de la sección de piso de canalón en la dirección de anchura; y dos secciones de pared vertical también conectadas a las secciones de arista. En un extremo en la dirección prescrita, el miembro estructural tiene una brida que mira hacia afuera formada conectando a través de por lo menos la sección de piso de canalón, las secciones de arista y las secciones de pared. La anchura de la sección de piso de canalón se reduce desde el extremo que tiene la brida que mira hacia afuera.
