Abstract

Se divulgan métodos para identificar la presencia o ausencia de un ácido nucleico objetivo de uno o más organismos en una muestra biológica, dicho método comprende: (a) girar la muestra a una velocidad rotacional suficiente para comprimir los desechos celulares e inhibidores de fluorescencia presentes en la muestra y reducir la interferencia o apagado de la fluorescencia en la muestra; y (b) amplificar y detectar directamente el ácido nucleico objetivo en la muestra.
