Abstract
Se describe un refrigerador que tiene un almacenamiento térmico que comprende un material de cambio de fase. El refrigerador tiene una cámara de enfriamiento (6) para contener un objeto que se va a enfriar, y un sistema de refrigeración de compresión de vapor que incluye un primer evaporador (10) para enfriar la cámara de enfriamiento y un segundo evaporador (12) para enfriar el material de cambio de fase. Se proporciona una válvula (15) para controlar el flujo de refrigerante al primero y segundo evaporadores dependiendo de la carga de enfriamiento en el refrigerador. Cuando el refrigerador se somete a una carga de enfriamiento relativamente baja, el refrigerante fluye al segundo evaporador (12) para enfriar el material de cambio de fase y, cuando el refrigerador se somete a una carga de enfriamiento relativamente alta, el refrigerante fluye al primer evaporador (10) tal que se proporcione enfriamiento incrementado a la cámara de enfriamiento por el primer evaporador y el material de cambio de fase.
