Abstract
La invención se refiere a un electrodo adecuado para tratamientos electrolíticos de soluciones diluidas de cloruro sódico incluso a bajas temperaturas. El electrodo se puede utilizar en la generación de agentes biocidas a base de cloro activo en agua de lastre para aplicaciones marinas. El electrodo tiene un sustrato de titanio, un recubrimiento catalítico interno que contiene óxidos de tántalo, de rutenio y de iridio, y un recubrimiento catalítico externo que contiene óxidos de titanio, de rutenio y de al menos uno de níquel, hierro y cobalto.
