Abstract
La invención se relaciona con composiciones plaguicidas que comprenden tensioactivos de trisiloxano y un agente formador de matriz, cuyas composiciones son capaces de controlar plagas y patógenos utilizando un modo de acción física. En consecuencia, en un aspecto, la presente divulgación provee una composición plaguicida para controlar plagas y patógenos con un modo de acción física. La composición comprende tensioactivos de trisiloxano y agentes formadores de matriz. La composición puede formar una matriz de gel o una matriz de película. Los tensioactivos de trisiloxano pueden seleccionarse del grupo que consiste en Silwet L-77, Silwet 408, Break-Thru S-240, y Silibase 2848. Los agentes formadores de matriz de una composición plaguicida se seleccionan del grupo que consiste en sales de quitosano y precursores de sol-gel.
