Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al tratamiento del agua. En un ejemplo, se proporciona un método para tratar un sistema acuoso para inhibir el crecimiento de uno o más microorganismos en el mismo y/o para reducir el número de microorganismos vivos en el mismo. El método incluye agregar agentes de tratamiento a un sistema acuoso en donde dichos agentes de tratamiento incluyen: (a) un compuesto de fosfonio; y (b) un compuesto de hipohalito.
