Abstract

En la presente se presentan métodos para cultivar un microorganismo. Los métodos incluyen proporcionar un recipiente que comprende uno o más microorganismos en un medio que tiene una primera relación carbono/nitrógeno; cultivar los microorganismos hasta que el cultivo alcance un indicador umbral; cosechar una parte del cultivo mientras mantiene la mayoría del cultivo en el recipiente; y agregar medio recién preparado que comprende una segunda relación de carbono/nitrógeno respecto al recipiente con la mayoría del cultivo que comprende los microorganismos.
