Abstract

Un método para inocular una planta con una bacteria que fija nitrógeno tal como Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus, y dicho método comprende administrar las bacterias que fijan nitrógeno a una lesión de una planta en crecimiento, por ejemplo a pasto recién cortado. De esta manera la inoculación conduce a características de crecimiento mejorado que incluyen verdor aumentado del pasto. También se describen y se reivindican composiciones novedosas adecuadas para uso en el método junto con kits para producir éstas.
