Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un material proteico y un ingrediente alimenticio a partir de una fuente sustentable y estable. La fuente sustentable y estable del alimento o ingrediente alimenticio es la biomasa, por ejemplo una biomasa microbiana o de algas. La invención describe que la biomasa puede someterse a una serie de etapas para derivar el material proteico y el alimento o ingrediente alimenticio, que tiene alto contenido nutricional sin las propiedades organolépticas no aceptables que típicamente acompañan a las proteínas y los ingredientes alimenticios de esas fuentes.
