Abstract
Un método para evitar el empañamiento o la recongelación del parabrisas de un vehículo incluye calcular un valor de la temperatura del punto de condensación de la superficie interior del parabrisas y/o el valor de la probabilidad de empañamiento de la superficie interior y/o de recongelación de la superficie exterior del parabrisas, y proporcionar solo una cantidad suficiente de flujo de aire climatizado al parabrisas para evitar que el valor de probabilidad calculada exceda un valor umbral de riesgo predeterminado de empañamiento y/o recongelación. Uno o más controladores realizan el cálculo y accionan elementos de un sistema HVAC del vehículo para proporcionar solo una cantidad suficiente de flujo de aire climatizado para hacer que un valor de la temperatura de la superficie interior del parabrisas exceda el valor de la temperatura del punto de condensación de la superficie interior del parabrisas o para hacer que un valor de la temperatura de la superficie exterior del parabrisas exceda una temperatura de congelación de la superficie exterior del parabrisas. Los ingresos de datos que influyen en el valor de probabilidad del empañamiento de la superficie interior y/o de la recongelación de la superficie exterior del parabrisas y/o el valor de la temperatura del punto de condensación directa del parabrisas se usan para ajustar los valores umbrales.
