Abstract

En una modalidad, la presente invención es un aparato, que comprende: una alfombrilla, una cámara de detección de profundidad, una plataforma elevada para pies que reduce o evita el movimiento rotacional de un pie, un procesador en comunicación con la cámara de detección de profundidad, el procesador además está configurado para calcular la circunferencia de la pierna de un usuario con base en los datos de la cámara de detección de profundidad mientras el usuario tiene un pie sobre la alfombrilla y un pie sobre la plataforma elevada para pies, el procesador además está configurado para seleccionar un producto recomendado para el tobillo o la rodilla del usuario de entre un grupo de productos candidatos prefabricados para las rodillas o tobillos con base en por lo menos parte de la circunferencia de la pierna del usuario; y un dispositivo de salida para visualizar información recibida del procesador, la información identifica el producto recomendado para el usuario.
