Abstract

Un sistema y un método para distinguir entre fuentes de eventos de contacto simultáneos en un dispositivo sensible al tacto. El dispositivo sensible al tacto incluye conductores de fila y conductores de columna, la trayectoria de cada uno de los conductores de fila cruza la trayectoria de cada uno de los conductores de columna. La intensidad de tal "diafonía" detectada entre los conductores de fila se puede utilizar para distinguir entre dos o más eventos de contacto, tal como distinguir un gesto con las dos manos de un gesto con una sola mano, distinguir dos eventos de contacto como habiendo sido iniciados por diferentes usuarios, distinguir un objeto pasivo de una mano, identificar un objeto pasivo, lo que mejora el rechazo de palma y mejora el rechazo de toque accidental.
