Abstract
Un método y un sistema para distinguir entre fuentes de eventos táctiles simultáneos en un dispositivo sensible al tacto con conductores de fila y conductores de columna, en donde la trayectoria de cada uno de los conductores de fila se cruzan con la trayectoria de cada uno de los conductores de columna. Cada una de una pluralidad de señales de fila ortogonales se transmite simultáneamente en un respectivo de al menos algunos de la pluralidad de conductores de fila. Se detecta una cantidad de cada una de las señales de fila ortogonales presentes en cada uno de la pluralidad de conductores de columna, y los eventos táctiles se identifican usando la cantidad detectada. Cada uno de los eventos táctiles simultáneos está asociado con una fuente discreta con base en la cantidad detectada de cada una de la pluralidad de señales de fila ortogonales.
