Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para proporcionar un recubrimiento inorgánico a partículas a base de nitrato de amonio (AN), en particular a partículas a base de nitrato de amonio para uso como un fertilizante, así como también a un recubrimiento inorgánico para partículas a base de nitrato de amonio per se. El método comprende las etapas de: a) aplicar un ácido mineral concentrado líquido con un contenido de agua de menos de 50 % en peso, a las partículas, con el fin de al menos, solubilizar el nitrato de amonio en la superficie externa de las partículas de manera que se obtiene una capa de agarre de partícula acidificada, y b) aplicar un alcalino mineral sólido en forma de polvo a las partículas de la etapa a) con el fin de reaccionar con la capa de agarre de las partículas para recubrir la superficie de partícula acidificada; en donde la relación estequiométrica de mineral sólido alcalino en forma de polvo al mineral concentrado es igual a o más de 5:1.
