Abstract

La invención se refiere a un sensor magnético para la determinación de la posición a lo largo de una trayectoria de desplazamiento (T) entre un objetivo (2) y un sistema de medición (3) para medir la amplitud del campo magnético creado o modificado por el objetivo. El sensor comprende: - un sistema de creación para crear un campo magnético en una dirección (M) perpendicular a la trayectoria de desplazamiento (T) y con una intensidad que varía con una relación parabólica; - un sistema de medición (3) que comprende al menos dos elementos de medición (3a), (3b) separados espacialmente entre sí que son sensibles a la amplitud del campo magnético en una dirección dada; y - un circuito procesador adecuado para realizar el procesamiento diferencial de las señales proporcionadas por los elementos de medición con el fin de obtener una señal de variación lineal que de la posición del objetivo a lo largo de la trayectoria de desplazamiento.
