Abstract

Método de preparación de una composición mineral basada en una fase sólida mixta de carbonatos de calcio y magnesio, que comprende una preparación, en una fase acuosa, de una suspensión de una fase sólida que contiene al menos un compuesto de calcio elegido entre hidróxido de calcio, carbonato cálcico y sus mezclas y al menos un compuesto de magnesio elegido entre óxido de magnesio, hidróxido de magnesio, dolomita al menos parcialmente hidratada, y sus mezclas, estando el peso de dicha fase sólida comprendido entre un 5 y un 15 % del peso total de la suspensión, una carbonatación de dicha fase sólida en suspensión por inyección de un gas que contiene CO2 en dicha suspensión calentada a una temperatura de 55 a 90°C con un caudal de CO2 de 2.5 a 15 dm3/min/kg de dicha fase sólida de la suspensión, con una disminución del pH de la suspensión hasta un valor inferior a 9 y con una estabilización de la conductividad eléctrica de la suspensión, siendo la carbonatación detenida a partir del momento en el que se observa esta estabilización de la conductividad eléctrica.
