Abstract
Una transmisión de engranajes planetarios tiene una caja de velocidades, múltiples tramos de engranajes planetarios y un eje secundario. Excepto por el último tramo, cada tramo de engranaje planetario comparte una primera corona dentada interna común. Cada tramo tiene un engranaje planetario, un soporte planetario y múltiples ruedas satélite. El engranaje planetario de cada tramo, excepto por el primer tramo se forma integralmente con o se fija al soporte planetario de una tramo inmediatamente anterior. El último tramo de la transmisión tiene una segunda corona dentada interna. La rueda satélite del último tramo se engrana con la segunda corona dentada interna. La segunda corona dentada interna incluye una porción de apoyo y el eje secundario atraviesa y es soportado con capacidad de rotación por la porción de apoyo.
