Abstract

The liquid stream is expanded at the pressure of the tower and supplied to the column in a lower feed position in the middle of the column. The quantities and temperatures of the feeds to the fractionation tower are effective in maintaining the head temperature of the fractionation tower at a temperature by which the main portion of the desired components is recovered.
