Abstract
Los sistemas y métodos para mejorar la detección de la dirección incorrecta del vehículo, que incluyen sistemas, sensores o funcionalidades, tales como para los relojes del sistema/de la rede, la luz ambiente, la incapacidad del conductor, el control automático de la velocidad, la advertencia de punto ciego o la seguridad configurable del vehículo, ya sea por separado o en cualquier combinación entre ellos, pueden mejorar y/o modificar el nivel de confianza de la detección de incidentes particulares o potenciales causados por la dirección incorrecta. Al modificar el nivel de confianza, el sistema puede cambiar la sensibilidad del sistema moviendo el límite en el cual se produce la activación del alerta. Los sistemas descritos anteriormente pueden modificar la sensibilidad de la detección de la dirección incorrecta. Una mayor confianza o sensibilidad del sistema también puede ayudar a permitir que el sistema realice más acciones más allá de una simple advertencia. Con niveles de confianza mayores, el sistema podría intervenir, por ejemplo, limitando la válvula reguladora, encendiendo las luces intermitentes o incluso deteniendo el vehículo.
