Abstract
En la presente se describen procesos para formar propileno. Los procesos incluyen, en general, hacer reaccionar una corriente de alimentación de metátesis que incluye n-buteno con etileno en presencia de un catalizador de metátesis a través de una reacción de metátesis para formar una corriente del producto de metátesis que incluye propileno, etileno, buteno y olefinas C5+; separar el propileno del etileno, buteno y olefinas C5+ en la corriente del producto de metátesis; y reciclar al menos una porción de las olefinas C5+ introduciéndolas en la reacción de metátesis.
