Abstract
Una disposición de sedimentador de extracción por solvente comprende un sedimentador (1) que tiene un extremo de alimentación (2) y un extremo de descarga (3), estando dicho sedimentador dispuesto para separar fases de solución de una dispersión alimentada del extremo de alimentación mientras que la dispersión fluye hacia el extremo de descarga. Se dispone canaletas de descarga alargadas (4, 5) en el extremo de descarga (3) del sedimentador para cada fase de solución que se va a separar de la dispersión, incluyendo cada canaleta de descarga (4, 5) un primer extremo (6), una salida (7, 8) dispuesta en el primer extremo, y un segundo extremo cerrado (9). Por lo menos una de las canaletas de descarga (4, 5) tiene una forma de un tubo cónico con una sección transversal que converge desde el primer extremo (6) hacia el segundo extremo (9) y una parte inferior inclinada (10, 11) que desciende desde el segundo extremo (9) hacia el primer extremo (6).
