Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un microorganismo recombinante optimizado para la producción fermentativa de metionina, en donde se atenúa la actividad de la metionina sintetasa independiente de cobalamina MetE en dicho microorganismo; la invención se refiere también a un método para producir metionina por medio de fermentación.
