Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a predicción residual entre vistas y se caracteriza por la adquisición de datos residuales de un primer bloque de referencia mediante el uso de un vector de movimiento de un bloque vecino, la adquisición de datos residuales de un segundo bloque de referencia mediante el uso de un vector de movimiento de vista de referencia o una vector de disparidad, la adquisición de un valor de predicción de datos residual usando los datos residuales del primer bloque de referencia y los datos residuales del segundo bloque de referencia, y la codificación un bloque de textura actual usando el valor de predicción de datos residual. La presente invención puede realizar predicción residual entre vistas mediante el uso de un valor de predicción adquirido usando datos codificados de otro punto de vista que pertenece a la misma banda de tiempo para incrementar la exactitud de la predicción de datos de video usando una correlación entre puntos de vista y reducir la cantidad de datos residuales que han de ser transmitidos, mejorando así la eficiencia de codificación. Además, la complejidad en un proceso de codificación puede ser reducida al añadir una condición para aplicar la predicción residual entre vistas.
