Abstract

La invención se refiere a un dispositivo de sedimentación (1, 15, 29) para separar una mezcla de material, de preferencia hojuelas de plástico, el dispositivo de sedimentación comprende: un tanque de sedimentación (2, 16, 30) que está configurado para recibir la mezcla de material y un líquido, por ejemplo agua; una entrada (5, 19, 34) que está configurada para introducir la mezcla de material y/o el líquido en el tanque de sedimentación; una salida (7, 21, 36) que está configurada para remover el sedimento del tanque de sedimentación; por lo menos una placa amortiguadora (10-14, 24-28, 39-43) dentro del tanque de sedimentación, en donde la por lo menos una placa amortiguadora está configurada como elemento oscilatorio ultrasónico; la invención también se refiere a un método para remover el sedimento de un dispositivo de sedimentación de acuerdo con la invención.
