Abstract

Se describen en la presente métodos y composiciones para mejorar el aumento de peso y eficiencia alimenticia en un ave, tal como un pollo, un pavo o una gallina ponedora, entre otros; los métodos incluyen administrar al ave una bacteria que produce ácido láctico (LAB) o combinación de LABs; los métodos y composiciones descritos también ayudan a reducir la infección por patógenos en el ave y reducir la incidencia de contaminación por patógenos en huevos de gallinas ponedoras.
